Covid 19 Update

We would like to apologise to all our families at this very difficult time, but due to the current situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), which is now being treated as a pandemic, it is with deep regret that we need to amend our working practices for the foreseeable future.
We at Richards Funeral Services have never, in over ‘25’ years of serving the community, found ourselves in an unprecedented time such as this.
In order to protect our staff and visitors to the premises, we would respectfully ask that you do not call in person at the office, unless you have phoned first on 01685 878121.
All staff are taking the required precautions seriously and we ask should you need to visit us at the funeral home, that you follow all of us in ensuring that all hygiene measures are adhered to.
We will be conducting the majority of funeral arrangements by telephone or Facetime, this is to limit the risk to both to our staff and our families.
This is an ever changing situation and we can ensure all of our families, that we will do our utmost to minimise the disruption caused to maintain the service you expect. Our priority is to continue as always, in carrying out our high standards of service, care and compassion to families and to your loved one in their passing.
Please stay safe and well at this uncertain time, look out for family, friends and neighbours and ensure you act responsibly to help the NHS manage these overwhelming times.
If you have any queries, whatsoever, please do not hesitate to call us.
